Job purpose:

The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with telecom operators, and driving revenue growth in the active and passive infrastructure sector. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the telecommunications industry, a deep understanding of active and passive infrastructure components, and the ability to formulate and execute strategic plans.

  • In-depth knowledge of active and passive telecom infrastructure components.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Good understanding of preparing RFP & RFQ.
  • Excellent in MS office skills – Excel, Power point, Word.
  • Have a 7 years plus experience with a large part within Uganda.
Responsible For
1.Market Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential competitors in the telecom infrastructure sector.
  • Analyze industry dynamics and regulatory changes to stay informed about market developments.
2.Business strategy:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Formulate and execute plans to expand to expand the company's presence in active and passive telecom infrastructure services.
3.Client Relationship management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision -makers at telecom operators.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their infrastructure needs and provide tailored solutions
4.Sale and Revenue Generation:
  • Lead the sales process from prospecting to closure, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Develop and negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements to meet revenue targets.
  • Prepare and timely submit the RFPs & RFQs.
5.Cross Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams based on market trends and client needs.
6.Idustry Networking:
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to potential clients.
