The Emmanuel Policy Statement: Client Recruitment and Headhunting Guidelines

 

Purpose:

To ensure that EBC maintains the highest level of professionalism and integrity in its recruitment and headhunting services, while avoiding conflicts of interest and protecting client relationships.

Scope:

This policy applies to all EBC consultants and staff involved in recruitment and headhunting services.

Guidelines:

1. Prohibited Activities:

  1. EBC shall not recruit or headhunt employees from clients for whom we are currently providing recruitment and headhunting services.
  2. EBC shall not solicit or entice employees from clients to join EBC or any of its affiliates.
  3. EBC shall not use client-provided information or resources to recruit or headhunt employees for EBC’s benefit.

2. Permitted Activities:

a. EBC may provide recruitment and headhunting services to open clients, including identifying and presenting candidates for open positions without interfering with operations at an active client’s operations.

b. EBC may offer outplacement services to clients, including supporting employees who have been terminated or are transitioning out of the active client’s organization.

3. Exceptions:

a. In cases where an client explicitly requests EBC’s assistance in recruiting or headhunting employees from an active client of EBC, a written agreement/consent must be obtained from the active client’s Senior HR personnel, outlining the terms and conditions of the engagement.

b. EBC’s management must approve any exceptions to this policy in writing.

4. Consequences of Non-Compliance:

a. Failure to adhere to this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of engagement for any of the EBC consultants.

b. EBC may also face reputational damage, financial losses, and legal consequences for violating this policy.

Acknowledgement:

All EBC consultants and staff involved in recruitment and headhunting services have acknowledge and sign this policy, confirming their understanding and commitment to upholding its principles.

Review and Revision:

This policy is reviewed annually and revised as necessary to ensure it remains effective and aligned with industry standards and best practices.

By adopting the Emmanuel Policy, EBC demonstrates its commitment to ethical recruitment and headhunting practices, protecting client relationships, and maintaining a reputation for integrity and professionalism.
